"I always say: Architecture is Creation; Some mythologists said that God is an Architect by Nature, which didn't surprise me much as He created our Universe..."

Nadim E. Maani is a graduate Lebanese Architect. He is also an active online blogger.

His web page 101architechprojectsandblogs.com posts his recent articles and topics related mainly to Architecture and Interior Design. His opinion based on many years of experience in the construction field is highly considered and followed.

He makes self-critics on his own designs posted as well on his website.
He likes to critique and in return, he is open to others’ opinions.

His architecture is originally based on the logical concept, followed by the design that has to be issues free from horizontal or vertical circulations. He had difficulties communicating with nonsense people who pretended to be designers, but in fact, knew nothing in this field and just interfered illegally with this job.

That's what he says about this matter:
"During my short time practicing Architecture, I did deal with any kind of projects; some of them well accomplished -even hit perfection- and the other ones missing even the smallest detail... Some done by professionals, and some done by less than qualified individuals... and that exactly what makes things even worse it. But as for the engineering service provided in my studios, I should deal with all kind of projects -bad and good ones- and may give an opinion if I was asked to do so, and even to finalize it if it wasn't yet complete."

Inside some posts, you will be redirected to a safe site, and here's the link to my files: payhip.com in order to be able to download some e-courses (pdf), pictures, drawings, or documents related to the articles. So, thanks for understanding this strategy that keeps my work protected.
I am sorry for any inconvenience it might cause you and happy to surf inside my Blog.

My blog is divided and organized into five main sections:

  • Architecture and Projects reviews, in which I choose some projects (maximum 2 in one post-article) and inspect them as per my point-of-view. The selected projects might be designed by me or related to my own clients. They might be in Lebanon or abroad, etc. Or I might be talking about some issues that the architect has in his professional life and some tips to solve them. Nice architectural projects and their history from the design to the execution stage, will be the subjects of my posts too, no matter what their locations are, local or abroad.
  • 101 Designs. In this section I will treat some designs and projects that are more into conceptions and creativity than architecture; it can be anything in our daily life that needs that kind of arrangement or organization to facilitate its task; such as home furniture either an android home page screen that contains the daily personal agenda.
  • Tutorials. As its name indicates, this section will provide learning tips and complete courses related to various architecture-related software (such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3ds Max Design...)
  • Décor and Renovation or Home Improvement Tips where you can find how-tos, DIY, and other useful articles every architect and homeowner may need for his projects by means of design.
  • The 101 Bookstore | Blog store section. Purchase your next book here! With a lot of titles available to buy online in the comfort of your home! Choose between the architecture or the computer graphics software titles provided via the registered affiliate program. Also, visit our new home furniture section for unique decoration items. Oops! Did I mention that it is a worldwide delivery?
